The Red Cross Blood Drive, which took place on both Monday, Apr. 9 and Tuesday, Apr. 10, not only met their goals, but exceeded them.
The first day’s goal, out of 78 presenting donors was 70 units (pints). The goal was exceeded by 2 units, according to Red Cross Blood Drive coordinator, Diane Dannen.
On the second day, usually reserved for those who couldn’t attend the first day, the goal was 35 units. The goal, once again, was exceeded by 4 pints
Between the two days of blood donations, there were only 16 deferrals.
This, according to Dannen, was another victory for the American Red Cross.
