    It is Ordered and Notice is given, that on May 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at the Watonwan County Courthouse, 710 2nd Avenue S, St. James, Minnesota 56081, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the decedent’s Will dated, June 23, 1997, and for the appointment of Evelyn Hagen, whose address is 12855 Co. Rd. 10, Hanska, Minnesota 56041, as personal representative of the estate of the decedent in an unsupervised administration.
    Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper, and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representative will be appointed with full power to administer the estate, including the power to collect all assets, pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the estate.
    Notice is also given that subject to Minn. Stat. §524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the decedent’s estate are required to present the claims to the personal representative or to the Court within four months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

    NOTICE OF PUBLIC
    HEARING ON
    THE ISSUANCE OF HOUSING AND SENIOR LIVING FACILITY REVENUE BONDS
    (THE LODGE OF MOUNTAIN LAKE PROJECT)
    Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Butterfield, Minnesota (the “City”) will meet at the City Hall, 103 2nd Street North, in the City, at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 to consider the proposal of Community Asset Foundation, Minnesota nonprofit corporation (the “Borrower”), that the City assist in financing a portion of the costs of the acquisition, construction and equipping of a 24-unit senior housing facility with services, to be connected to the existing Good Samaritan Society facility located at 735 Basinger Memorial Drive in Mountain Lake, Minnesota (the “Project”).  The Project will be financed in part through the issuance by the City of approximately $2,500,000 of revenue bonds or other obligations pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C and a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Mountain Lake.  The Project will be owned by the Borrower and managed by The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.
    The bonds, as and when issued, will not constitute a charge, lien or encumbrance upon any property of the City, except the revenues derived from the Project.  Such bonds or obligations will not be a charge against the general credit or taxing powers of the City, but are payable from sums to be paid by the Company pursuant to a revenue agreement.
    A draft copy of the proposal and associated materials is available for inspection during business hours, Monday through Friday, at City Hall.
    At the time and place fixed for the public hearing, the City Council will give all persons who appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposal.  In addition, interested persons may file written comments respecting the proposal with the City Clerk at or prior to the public hearing.

    Notice is hereby given per Minnesota State statues, Chapter 116, that David Brandts Farm has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency or the County of Watonwan for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more
    Page 4 of 4 - The existing and/or  proposed feedlot will be located in the NE1/4, Section 9 in South Branch Township. The existing facility consists of 3000 head swine 55 pounds or greater (900 animal units-AU) and 1500 head of swine less than 55 pounds (75 AU) in total confinement barns. Manure storage is in an earthen basin and deep pits under the barns. The proposed facility includes construction of a 51 foot by 192 foot total confinement barn with a poured concrete pit under the barn for liquid manure storage that will house up to 1200 head of swine 55 pounds or greater. After construction the facility will house up to 4200 head of swine 55 pounds or greater (1260 AU) and 1500 head of swine less than 55 pounds (75 AU) in tital confinement barns.  The total animal unit capacity will be 1335 AU.
    This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota Law.
