NOTICE OF BALLOT PROCEDURES FOR MAIL BALLOT ELECTIONS
WATONWAN COUNTY

The following election precincts of Watonwan County will conduct the State Primary Election to be held on August 14, 2012, by mail ballot: the Townships of Adrian, Antrim, Butterfield, Long Lake, Odin, Nelson, Riverdale and Rosendale and the following cities: Butterfield, Darfur, LaSalle, Odin and Ormsby.
Eligible voters that are registered in these precincts 21 days prior to the election (July 24, 2012) will receive a ballot for the election by mail which will be sent between July 18 and July 31. Voted ballots may be returned by mail or delivered to the Watonwan County Auditor’s Office in the Courthouse at 710 Second Ave. S, St. James, MN 56081 during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Unregistered eligible voters may vote in person on Election Day at the Watonwan County Courthouse or request an absentee ballot any time prior to Election Day at the Watonwan County Auditor’s Office. The ballots will be counted following the closing of polls at 8:00 P.M. on August 14 in the basement of the Courthouse.
