The last days of pre-registration to vote are rapidly approaching as the Oct. 16 deadline draws nearer.
“Minnesota voters can register at their polling place on Election Day, but pre-registering will save you time when you go vote on November 6,” said Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.
Voters can get an application online at www.sos.state.emn.us or pick up a voter registration slip in the Watonwan County Auditor's Office.
“Pre-registration gets you on the roster for election day,” says County Auditor Donald Kuhlman.
This will enable you to show up and vote come election day, without having to register again.
If you miss the pre-registration date, you can still register at the polls on election day.
Check the secretary of state’s website or give the county auditor’s office a call to see what you have to do before election day Nov. 6.
