St. James is home to many small businesses that work out of home. They produce and sell straight from their living room different home made goods and helpful oddities. These small companies came together to sell their products Oct. 27 in the Armstrong auditorium.
The fundraiser was an opportunity for home-based businesses to get their name out and sell some of their merchandise. It was also an opportunity for local residents to purchase some early holiday presents. A steady stream of shoppers worked their way through the fundraiser during the day.
Nick-knacks from scarfs to candles were sold at the event as well as gift cards. Door prizes were also drawn and given away to lucky winners.
A portion of all proceeds went to the District 840 Foundation.
