  • Lions Club International recognizes service of local Lions

  • Wayne A. Madden, International President of Lions Clubs recently honored five local Lions Members for the years of service which they have provided to Lions International and to the local Lions Club.

  • Wayne A. Madden, International President of Lions Clubs recently honored five local Lions Members for the years of service which they have provided to Lions International and to the local Lions Club.
    Reinhard Besel, Mark Collier and Scott Olson were recognized for 20 years of service.   Mark Brown and Joe McCabe were recognized for 15 years of service.    Each member was presented to with a chevron as a sign of their dedication to Lions International.  The St. James Lions Club meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Hickory Inn.   In addition to supporting many local projects, lions members contribute to the Minnesota Eye Bank and the Leader Dog program.  Funding for Lions Club projects come in part from the charitable gambling at the Hickory  Inn.
