Dr. David W. Anderson, 76 of White Bear Township, Minn. entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2012. Memorial service was on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church in St. Paul with a visitation preceding the service at the church. Memorials preferred to Arlington Hills Lutheran Church.
David was born in St. James on July 18, 1936 to Mauritz and Nettie Anderson on one of the hottest days in Minnesota history. He excelled in academics and sports, winning the 1954 State Championship in tennis doubles. After graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. David served the Twin Cities as a distinguished dermatologist for over 40 years. He touched many lives through his gentle and compassionate care. Through professional organizations and family travels, he visited six continents and enjoyed photographing them all. David's passion for golf carried him to many courses in Minnesota, around the United States and across the Atlantic. Our family is so grateful for the excellent care and support given to Dr. David by the staff at Waverly Gardens North Gables and United Hospital over the past seven months.
David is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Corrienne Faye; son Aron Brent (Marci), daughter Käri Marie Anderson Suggs (Mark), son Grant David (Michelle); grandchildren Keir, Tait, Autumn, Jamar, and Miles; brother Mark Anderson, DDS (Roz); sister-in-law Mae Anderson.
He is preceded in death by baby son, Blair Ulrik; brother, Dr. Robert M. Anderson; granddaughter, Lydia J Anderson.
