    Minnesota Public Radio hereby gives public notice that on November 30, 2012, it filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission seeking to renew its license to operate FM translator station K295BD, which is located at 43° 58’ 39” N Latitude and 94° 39’ 18” W Longitude and serves St. James, MN.  The station operates on channel 295 at a power of 0.085 kW.
    The station engages in the rebroadcasting of KGAC, St. Peter, MN on channel 218.
    Individuals who wish to advise the FCC of facts relating to our renewal application and to whether this station has operated in the public interest should file comments and petitions with the Commission by March 1, 2013.
    Further information concerning the FCC’s broadcast license renewal process may be obtained from the FCC, Washington, D.C. 20554.

    D. Anderson moved, second by Stevens to approve the agenda as amended.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Stevens moved, second by Mohlenbrock to approve the minutes from the 9-24-12 Special Meeting and the 10-8-12 Regular Meeting as presented.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    D. Anderson moved, second by Mohlenbrock to approve the Gifts and Bequests totaling $1,504.12.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Mohlenbrock moved, second by D. Anderson to approve bills and payments for the month as presented at the meeting totaling $1,198,919.26.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Chairperson Brown welcomed visitors and guests to the meeting.
    Superintendent Cselovszki updated the Board and audience on the 5 Board Priorities and also introduced our new student Representatives on the board.
    The Board was also updated on the SIG updates and reports by Superintendent Cselovszki and Principal Beck.
    Stevens moved, second by Mohlenbrock to approve the Curriculum Review cycle from Mr. Kent Franklin.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Mohlenbrock moved, second by D. Anderson to approve the first reading of the new/updated district Internet use policy.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Stevens moved, second by Firchau to approve the Winter sports coaching contracts.
    Motion approved 6-0.
    Firchau moved, second by Mohlenbrock to approve the Assurance of Compliance prohibiting discrimination.
    Motion approved 5-0.
    Firchau moved, second by Stevens to form a committee to look into possible conference options for our district. The committee should include representation from both the St. James and Butterfield-Odin School Boards and administration, coaches, AD, Parent representation and Community representation.

    Reports:
    Firchau and Stevens presented the district policy regarding community and public involvement at Board Meetings and explained the policy for those in attendance.
    Mr. Simon reported on many High School items and updated the Board.
    Mrs. Beck provided a Handout of Northside happenings.
    Superintendent Cselovszki Reported to the Board on a number of items including the disposal of old computers and the Grant Award for the EDA Incubator Program.
