2012 deer harvest preliminary numbers for local permit areas

Based upon preliminary harvest figures, the total number of adult bucks taken during all of the 2012 deer seasons (firearms, archery, and muzzleloader) for Permit Areas 238, 250, 252, 253, 295, and 296 is up from the 2011 harvest by approximately 35 percent, and very close to the long term average (LTA) of the previous 17 years.
