Wellspring Faith In Action is pleased to announce that they have launched a respite program for care receivers who have mild to moderate cognitive impairment. This program takes place Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the St. James Community Building.
Each week, family caregivers can take a much needed break while their loved ones participate in a wide array of fun and stimulating activities led by an experienced activities leader. Wellspring volunteers interact one-on-one with the participants.
Wellspring’s social respite program will be supervised by a licensed social worker and coordinated by an experienced senior activity coordinator, both provided in partnership with VINE Faith In Action.
Family caregivers are welcome to participate with their loved one or use the time to run errands and take care of personal business.
Please call Kim Askeland at Wellspring Faith In Action, (507)375-1276, for more information and to register.
