  •     The SJA gymnastics team has improved over the course of the season even though they’ve yet to win a meet.
The team scores are starting to crack 100 as the young gymnasts gain valuable experience. This is about a ten percent improvement in the team scores since the start of the season.
Hosting the Martin County Area Magic last Thursday, the Saints fell by a score of 129.475 to 101. It was the first meet the Saints topped 100 this  year.
The Magic was tough competition for the Saints, as they are currently ranked 17th in the state.
The Saints hit the road on Tuesday and lost to another strong team, the Worthington Trojans by a score of 133.075 to 102.300.
Senior Erin Hurley continues to be the Saints top scorer in meets. At the same time, the younger Saints continue to make progress as the season moves on.
The Saints traveled to Maple Valley for an invitation on Saturday, but result have not yet been turned into the newspaper.
