The Butterfield-Odin school recognized the Paraprofessionals with cake and appreciation for the dedication and work that they do for the students at staff at the Butterfield-Odin school. January 14 through 18, was the week of recognition proclaimed by Gov. Dayton.
Paraprofessionals work in specialized, specific areas at the elementary and high school level. They work to assist teachers in the classroom, supervise students outside of the classroom, or provide administrative support for teaching.
Though the work paraprofessionals are tasked with daily is constantly changing, paraprofessionals are a valuable part of the educational system.
They ensure that all students are offered the opportunity to learn and grow during their years at an educational institution.
