The Saints Jr. High, JV wrestlers won the Arrow Open last Saturday.
Coach Jeff Whitney said, "We had seventh through ninth graders go to Pipestone on Saturday. We won the tournament by 10 points over some very tough competition."
The Saints racked up 174.50 points, and Worthington was second with 164.50 points.
Minneota was third and a Sioux Falls school came in fourth among the ten teams competing. Whitney continued, "This is an individual tournament where team scores are kept. We have now won this tournament three out of the last four years. We avenged last years 2.5 point loss to Minneota.
"We had two champions in Daniel Carreon and Chris Johnson. Jesse Carlson took second, Max Svalland took Third and there were many other placers that did well.
"This was a total team effort and everyone did a great job."
