Helen Pauline McCawley Rowcliffe passed away February 3, 2013 at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care. A private family service will be held.
Helen Pauline McCawley Rowcliffe was born on March 22, 1926 in Seneca, Neb., to Clifford F. and Mildred McCawley. She graduated as valedictorian of her class in 1943 at Seneca Public School. She accepted Christ into her life and was baptized upon confession of her faith in 1944. She was united in marriage to Mylo Rowcliffe on February 10, 1947. In 1949, upon a call to the ministry, they moved to Minneapolis, to attend North Central Bible College. From 1954 to 1987 they pastored Assembly of God churches in Minnesota and South Dakota. During her lifetime, Helen worked as an abstractor, set type for the Mt. Lake Observer, and served as pianist, organist, Sunday School teacher and children’s worker in the various churches they pastored.
Helen is survived by her; son, Michael (Esmeralda), daughters, Marlys Guimaraes (Mike), and Marvela Waters (Jim); five granddaughters and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale McCawley, Darrell McCawley and Thomas McCawley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mylo, two brothers and one sister.
