“Making St. James a Better Place”
I think to make St. James a better place is to take action. Not to just sit back and wait for our community to get better by itself. We need to get involved and find out what we can do to make it a better place to live. Attend community meetings and come up with ways to make it a better place to live.
One way to help is to get to know our neighbors. Know the people who we live around. Building a strong community is a team effort. One person can’t do it all on their own. So we should get to know our neighbors and make it a goal to make our community a better place to live.
Another way we could make St. James a great place to live in is we could get a volunteer team to help clean up our lake. Make it a more family friendly as well as animal friendly lake. I also think the town itself could use more of our help to clean up the garbage off the ground. That would help to improve not just our town but also our environment we live in.
The last thing our town St. James does not have but would make it a better place is a community center for kids. A community center would be a great place for kids to do their homework and have fun. Once we have a community center all the kids in St. James will have a fun place to go when they have nothing to do.
There are a lot of things that we can do to help to make St. James a better place for all of us to live, but it takes action to get the job done. If we work together each day doing our own share, even if that is picking up one bottle or one piece of trash off the ground instead of just walking by and ignoring it. Then someday our town can be a great place to live.
