Every week, editors Adam Bryant and Natalie Abrams satisfy your need for TV scoop. Please send all questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or tweet them to @adam_bryant or @NatalieAbrams.
It's been so long since you offered up any scoop on Glee. Please! -Sammie NATALIE: This week's episode is a game-changer, to say the least, after someone at McKinley High makes a bold decision that will leave their future at the school in question. If I say any more, Ryan Murphy will kill me, but considering his penchant for timely topics, this one shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
I love Person of Interest. Will the Stanton Virus wreak havoc on the Machine? ADAM: Finch pretty much confirmed in the last episode that the virus was most likely behind the Machine's glitchy behavior in recent episodes. But it sounds like the Machine will fight back in the run-up to this year's finale. "What's really interesting about the Machine is whether or not you believe it is an evolving organism," executive producer Greg Plageman says. "What happens when an organism like that comes under attack? The question to ask is: Have we seen all the facets of the Machine and its true power?" Anyone else hoping to see Terminators in Season 3?
What's going to happen to Bailey on Grey's Anatomy? -Mary NATALIE: Her job will be on the line when the CDC comes to town to investigate her. But the good news is that her faithful husband Ben (Jason George) will return from Los Angeles to offer moral support. Love me some BCB!
So glad Mad Men is back, even though Don is up to his old habits. On the upside, does that mean he'll get his mojo back at wor ADAM: Creator Matthew Weiner doesn't believe that Don ever lost his mojo. And although Don often worries about being pushed out by the younger generation, Weiner says the creativity on display in Don's ill-fated Hawaii ad is actually a sign of promise. "People have some expectation that Don is going to be left behind - that he's some kind of relic," Weiner says. "I feel like the society is becoming more like Don and he's never been more in touch with what's going on." Nevertheless, the Royal Hawaiian begs to differ.
Page 2 of 5 - Got any scoop on The Vampire Diaries spin-off episode? -Jorge NATALIE: After Klaus and Haley's hookup, Phoebe Tonkin's casting on the spin-off makes a little more sense, but in the backdoor-pilot episode, we'll discover why they'll always be connected - and why Elijah is so damn happy about it.
I really loved the Hannibal premiere. How quickly will we get to see more of Dr. Lecter's misdeeds? - Nathan ADAM: All in good time, Nathan. "We will see the Hannibal we know several times," Mads Mikkelsen promises. "But it has to be his private moments." In the meantime, Hannibal has other fish to fry. Perhaps the most pressing: What happens when Abigail Hobbs wakes up? After all, the man who called to warn her father the FBI was coming had a pretty recognizable voice...
Please tell me that Parks and Recreation is going to get renewed! --Darren NATALIE: I'm crossing my fingers like the rest of you, but I do have some news on the season finale: Leslie Knope will be looking back on her year in office during Pawnee's Founder's Week. As she reflects, some major players from the town will make cameos, including Jason Schwartzman's adult-video store owner, moral watchdogs Marcia and Marshall Langman, Wamapoke Indian Ken Hotate and, quite possibly, Jean-Ralphio.
What can you tell me about the upcoming Hawaii Five-0 prequel episode? ADAM: McGarrett travels to North Korea to collect the remains of a fellow SEAL who died in the mission we saw a snippet of in the first episode of the series. Why does McGarrett go to such great lengths three years later? Let's just McGarrett is indirectly to blame for his partner's death. Several of the flashbacks play on father-son dynamics, which makes watching the re-contextualized scene of McGarrett talking to his dad for the last time even more brutal.
I can't wait for Sebastian Moran to return on Elementary! Got any scoop? -John NATALIE: Sebastian Moran (Vinnie Jones) will send Sherlock on the path to hunting down Moriarty, but instead, Holmes will come across another one of the mastermind's agents, who is quite different from the brutish, outwardly aggressive Moran. This new foe may have taken a page out of Homeland's book. I liked Bill Hader on The Mindy Project. Is he coming back at all this season? ADAM: You're in luck! The SNL vet will reprise his role as Mindy's ex, Tom, in the penultimate episode of the season when she - in true Mindy fashion - runs into him at a frat party. While Mindy is there to party with her new protégé, Tom - who now boasts an eyebrow ring - is there to meet girls because his marriage is a "disaster." But just when it looks like sparks might reignite, a surprise appearance by Pastor Casey will throw things off course. Stefon vs. a minister: We couldn't have planned this better ourselves.
Page 3 of 5 - What's going to happen to Nora on Revolution when General Monroe kidnaps her? -Joan NATALIE: It's not good, to say the least. "Like any person that is so inextricably intertwined in the rebels, she has information and information is power to Monroe, so the concept of having her in his grasp means that he's going to squeeze her until he gets what he needs," David Lyons says with a sly smile that does not bode well for Nora. Ruh-roh.
I'm so excited that Laura Benanti is joining Royal Pains! What more can you spill about her character? ADAM: Her character, Shelby, works for the company that recently bought Hamptons Heritage. First up: The new owners will add a concierge service exactly like HankMed. But instead of looking to hire a rival doctor to lead the new in-house team, Shelby actually attempts to buy HankMed. The brothers Lawson enjoy being wined and dined, but this potential partnership could be complicated when Divya treats Shelby for a dislocated finger and discovers that she's suffering from a much more serious medical condition.
Natalie's Mega Rave: Move over, Rayna and Juliette: The real stars of Nashville are Rayna's children Maddie and Daphne Conrad (portrayed by the musically inclined Lennon and Maisy Stella). If you weren't touched by their rendition of "Ho Hey," then you have no heart.
Adam's Mini Rant: I love you, Breaking Bad, and I will miss you terribly when you're gone. But, with all due respect to Bob Odenkirk, we all know, deep down, we don't want a spin-off about Saul.
