  • There’s going to be a baseball clinic for area kids that may  have some Minnesota Twins scouts attending. It will be held at the Godahl baseball fields on Saturday, May 4.
Carlie Olson, who is working on the clinic, said the coaches at the clinic may be Twins scouts or college coaches who work with the Twins organization. Three or four coaches will run the event.
There is no registration required, nor is there any kind of a registration fee. Kids just have to show up with their gloves.
The clinic runs from 1 pm to 2:30 pm for kids six to nine years old and runs from 2:30 pm to 4 pm for kids ten to sixteen years old.
Fundamentals will be taught. That will include areas of the game like hitting, pitching and base running.
In case of rain (or snow) the event will be held inside the Godahl community center.
