  • Zach Galifianakis returned to host Saturday Night Live for the third time, providing one of the most consistently hilarious shows of the season. Also stopping by the set were Galfianakis' Hangover III co-stars Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and SNL favorite Jon Hamm. Here are some of the highlights:
TV Scorecard: What's renewed? What's canceled?
Fox and Friends Cold Open: The episode's opening sketch revisited the Fox and Friends crew, who interviewed New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (Fred Armisen) about the recent gun control debate and his proposed ban on large sodas. Per usual, the skit included "fact-checking corrections" about the program, including "Kentucky Derby losers are not turned into Ikea meatballs" and "Justin Bieber and Anne Frank were not an item."
Monologue: "Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving ... I haven't really done anything," Galifianakis, who last hosted the show in December 2012, quipped during his opening monologue. The intro also offered Galifianakis to show off his piano skills, while reciting a series of one-liners.

"Game of Game of Thrones": This sketch stars Galifianakis as an unlucky Game of Thrones uber-fan, who goes on a game show specifically about the HBO series, but just can't seem to get the right questions.

M&M Store Employee: Saturday Night Live pushed the politically correct envelope with this sketch about "Racist Jim" (Galifianakis), a new employee at the Times Square M&M store who can't get along with his new co-workers, which include "the wrong kind of Indian" and a woman whose "butt is Puerto Rican but [whose] boobs didn't get the memo."

Darrell's House Part 1 and 2: You have to watch both parts to fully get the joke of this sketch, where Galifianakis plays a guy filming a public access television show about how to be a good host when company comes over. Who's his surprise guest?
How do you think Galifianakis did as host? What were some of your favorites sketches from last night's SNL?
