Madelia Community Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the 2013 recipients of the Madelia Community Hospital Foundation scholarships. This year’s recipients are Autumn Johnson from Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial High School and Adam Cooling from Madelia High School.
Autumn plans to attend the University of Minnesota-Rochester and intends to go into the Pre-Medical program with future plans of becoming a surgeon.
Adam will be attending Minnesota State University-Mankato and will be in the Physical Therapy program pursuing a career in Sports Medicine.
Recipients will each receive a $500 scholarship after the successful completion of their first semester. We are very excited to award these scholarships to such well deserving students from our community. We hope these scholarships will inspire and encourage students to dedicate their lives to helping others.
These scholarships are made possible due to the generous donations from the community and faithful Madelia Community Hospital supporters. The scholarships are offered annually as a means of demonstrating our commitment to local health care and our youth.
