  • The St. James High School class of 1944 met for their 69th reunion with a noon luncheon at the hometown Cafe on July 17, with 28 in attendance (18 classmates, 8 spouses, 2 guests).

  • The St. James High School class of 1944 met for their 69th reunion with a noon luncheon at the hometown Cafe on July 17, with 28 in attendance (18 classmates, 8 spouses, 2 guests).
    Ken Marsh, Donovan Hopman and Nord Asland met on Tuesday, July 16. They decided it was too hot to golf, so they played pool.
    At the luncheon, greetings were read from those unable to attned, Mildred Besel reported on the All School Reunion which she had attended.
    There were seven at the Hometown Cafe for breakfast on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
    Members of the class from St. James were Mildred and Beiny Besel, Elden and Goldie Kintzi, Margaret Anderson, Elden and Shari Malott, Al and Phyllis Haler, Gladys and Les Lewis and Leona Shellum. Those attending from out of town included Erland and LaVohn Olson from Bloomington; Bob and Gladys Anderson from Edina; Rhoda Olson. from Comfrey; Donovan Hopman from Madelia; Ken Marsh from Burnsville; Frank Bridges and guests Austin Linnea and Art Ellanson from Glencoe; Nord Osland from Rockford; Janette Fowler from Fairbault; Jean Cooper from North Mankato; Darlene Anderson from Blaine; and Dick Lichtscheidl from Cambridge.
