Randall Lee Lang (Wacky), 61, of St. James died on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 from fatal injuries caused by a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. K. Christian Johnson will officiate, with burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James. Randy was born March 1, 1952 to Alvin and Leora Lang in Madelia. He attended grade school in LaSalle and high school in St. James, graduating in 1970. After graduation, Randy attended Mankato Technical College for Auto Body. Randy was known by everyone and had a tender soul and big heart. He loved spending time with his friends and family. Randy enjoyed collecting guns, rebuilding older Harleys and most of all - riding his Harley with his friends
Randy is survived by his best friend, Nick, his dog; father, Alvin Lang; brother Steven and Laura Lang; sister Deb Melheim and sister Brenda Hoffman all of St. James. Nephews, Christopher (Terri) Melheim of Sleepy Eye; Ryan Melheim of St. James; Lucas (Nathan) Melheim of Apple Valley, Cody Hoffman of St. James; Caleb Hoffman of LaSalle; nieces, Rachel Lang and McKenzie Lang of St. James; great-nephews Derek Melheim of St. James and Mason Buller of Sleepy Eye; great-niece Madison Buller of Sleepy Eye and great-great nephew, Jonathan Fischer of Jackson.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Leora; grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
