Head Coach Brad Stark said, “The team continued to show improvement as they were in a quality meet called the Worthington Turkey Trot.
“Sadie Goossen represented the team well in her first varsity action of the year.  Her competitive nature helped her to calm her nerves and post her best 4K time ever.  Ashley Cuellar and Sadie formed a nice running combo epitomizing teamwork.”
Coach Stark had some comments regarding the Windom Eagle Invitational which was run earlier this week, “Perfect weather and a flat course worked together to provide many of the athletes with personal bests in their races.
“Among those achieving career PR's included Tyler Witcraft, Thor Henderson, Ty Nelson, Lukas Pierson, Aaron Askeland, Zachary Piper, MacKinzee Miest, Michelle Montelongo, and Sadie Goossen.”
The Saints host their only meet of the season on Tuesday. The Saints are scheduled to be running against nine other teams.
Action is set to begin at the St. James Golf Course at 4:30 pm.
