Hummingbird Moths, unlike other types of moths, can be spotted on clear sunny days and are easily mistaken for Hummingbirds because they have a similar flight pattern and coloring. They often live in forests or gardens and feed on nectar of flowers.
Hummingbird Moths can be one to two inches in length with a wingspan about the same size. These moths have a great memory and will often visit the same flowers over and over again.
