Greg Lingbeek-- co-owner of Lingbeek Designs -- says he always knew he didn't want to work for someone else the rest of his life. He made that dream a reality in 2010 by starting up Lingbeek Designs--an idea he had always had in the back of his mind.

"I was working full-time welding--but I always knew I wanted to be my own boss," said Lingbeek. "I had hundreds of ideas in the back of my mind, but this one was one I really wanted to pursue."

Lingbeek started the company with his father Gary Lingbeek in 2010--opening up a shop in Comfrey, Minn. before moving to St. James in 2012.

A family owned and operated plasma cutting shop--the company offers sandblasting, welding and metal art work. Lingbeek runs the company with his father Gary Lingbeek who owned his own seed business--Green Field Seed-- for more than 20 years before stepping on board with Lingbeek Designs.

The company offers powder coating of custom art work or you can bring your own projects in to be powder coated.

"We have all kinds of metal art work that can be put outside in your yard or that can be hung on the wall inside," said Lingbeek.
