Spanish Philosopher Jose Gaos once noted, "Every private library is a reading plan," and locals will have a chance to supplement their own private libraries through a book sale at the St. James Library this weekend.

The St. James Library, in conjunction with the Friends of the St. James Library, is holding a book sale Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Proceeds from the sale are used to help promote library programs.

The sale goes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
