The St. James High School band program will be putting on their Spring Concert in the Armstrong auditorium this Friday, May 9, at 8 p.m. The ticketed show will be a “pops” concert, and will feature performances from students in sixth grade and beyond.
“It should be a fun evening,” said Karen Lahti, the school’s Band Director. “The students [are] performing songs from the Beatles, 60s rock tunes, as well as music from Les Miserables.”
The spring concert is the last performance of what was a great year for the program. The 2014 outstanding performer winners from each grade level will be announced during the spring concert. Senior awards will be given out on May 21, at an award breakfast in the school’s cafeteria.
