Walker Froehling threw a perfect game against International Falls on Friday afternoon. St. James advances to the next round.

On Friday, August 1, St. James Post #33 played in their first State tournament game in over 40 years, and defeated International Falls 1-0.

Walker Froehling threw a perfect game, with eight strikeouts in the seven innings.  The team's defense help immensely in the result. 

The strong pitching was needed, as St. James only registered three hits on offense.  The team's only RBI was a bases loaded walk.

St. James will return to action at the State Legion Tournament in Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Their opponent will be the host team, Luverne who dispatched of LaCrescent 5-2 in first round action.
