After an eight-year tenure teaching Ag and Biology at Glenville-Emmons High School, Angie James will take over as the new Ag teacher at St. James High School this fall, and she brings with her a wealth of both professional and personal agriculture experience.

She got her first indoctrination into this area’s agricultural community during the Watonwan County Fair earlier this month, where she was thrown into the fire of helping coordinate the livestock auction July 19.

James grew up outside New Ulm on a hobby farm, and she said, “The county fair was always the best week of the summer for me.” Her specialty was showing sheep.
