The recent warm days of August have been beneficial for the swimming pool and slide, making the water park a great place to be with temperatures in the 90’s.
Thanks to the efforts of many St. James Citizens the water slide remained operational this summer. Donation containers were placed about town, fundraisers and cook outs all helped provide the funds needed to keep the slide alive. Private donations from businessess and individuals also added up to make total funds collected over $6,000.00. More in the Sept. 2 Plaindealer.
