Senator Julie Rosen (District 24) and Representative Bob Gunther (District 24 A) were in St. James on Monday, February 1, 2010 to meet with voters in an open forum session at Jake’s Pizza. The legislators appeared to answer questions and discuss any concerns, thoughts, or ideas for the upcoming legislative session.
Though the session  was poorly attended,  Rosen and Gunther answered questions and  addressed current issues for over and hour and a half.
Creating jobs in District 24 was the primary topic of discussion and both lawmakers agreed it is the number one priority for the district and all across the state. “I’m speaking about jobs in the private sector,” said Gunther. “We need to put people back to work,” added Rosen.
