The Encore Cafe in St. James will soon have a new manager, Janesssa Montemurno. Janessa has been at The Encore since 2008 and will be taking on the responsibilities of manager in the near future. She plans to continue her education in the field of business.

St. James Fire Relief Association gained an increase in retirement funding from $1,700 for one year of service to $1,750.
Hartwin Kietzer of Truman, Minnesota started giving blood in 1950. A friend of Hartwin’s had been injured in a tractor rollover and in 1950 you either paid for a blood transfusion or you had someone give replacement blood in your name.
