St. James Area High School partnered with the Minnesota State Highway Patrol to conduct the school’s first drug search of the year on Tuesday. The date for the search was chosen at random and was free of cost to the school. According to St. James Principal Karla Beck, the procedure was a rousing success.
“This is what the tax payers of St. James are spending their hard earned money on. It is services like this that helps keep our schools and our neighborhoods safe. It is good to send the message to our student’s parents that we are watching out for their well being,” Beck said.
