According to an investigation report that was prepared by James K. Martin of Booth Law Group, Booth Law has been retained by the Butterfield-Odin School District to investigate allegations against former superintendent and principal Lisa Shellum.

  Booth Law Group was asked to investigate whether or not Lisa Shellum interfered with an/or attempted to sabotage the District's attempt to hire Jerry Reker as the district's superintendent in the late spring of 2016. Additionally, Booth Law was also asked to investigate whether or not Lisa Shellum acted intentionally in regards to the District's child care license causing it to close for one day on January 22, 2016.
