Staff sergeant Silvestre Arroyo currently serves as the Enlisted Aide to the United States Army Africa’s Commanding General based in Vicenza, Italy. Silvestre Arroyo recently won the 42nd Annual Military Culinary Arts Competitive Training Event held at Fort Lee, Virginia. In order to win the coveted award in 2017, Arroyo excelled in four different phases: the Enlisted Aide Hot Food Challenge, the Uniform Assembly Challenge, the Leadership Board, as well as a written exam.
