With summer vacation in full swing the Watonwan County Library is the place to be. While most would think of the library as a place just to get books, that is far from the truth. Summer vacation means a chance for children of all ages to enjoy a variety of activities at the library. One of the recent events at the library was on Friday, June 30th where the library hosted Lego club. Children of all ages by themselves or with the help of a parent or library worker, were able to create their own lego boards. While children are allowed to use their creative imaginations to make any masterpiece they would like, there is also always a challenge. This week’s challenge was to create a gumball machine. The first child to finish the challenge this time was Riley Haseman.
