The St. James Lady Saints volleyball team played host ML-GHEC-T on Tuesday, September 26th which was the Lady Saints homecoming game.
The Lady Saints were dominant during the game winning in three sets. Some of the highlights during the game for the Lady Saints include Brooklyn Mickelson who had 7 kills in the game and Jadyn Anderson who had 9 kills during the game.
Callie Coleman had 11 digs during the game, and Allison Wolle had an impressive 23 set assists during the game. The most impressive part of the game was the Lady Saints serves as they 29 points from two players alone. Danielle Chapin went 18-18 on serves and Kayla Hanson went 11-11 on serves.
The Lady Saints on Thursday, September 21st faced off at home against Fairmont where they won in a 5 set thriller. Before the game started though the Lady Saints honored survivors and people who are struggling with cancer as each player had a guest that they brought onto the court to be honored. During the game the Lady Saints battled with a very tough Fairmont team. Some of the highlights for the Lady Saints include Jadyn Anderson who had 16 kills in the game as well as Brooklyn Mickelson who had 10 kills and also went 19-20 on serves. Overall serving for the Lady Saints were very impressive as Callie Coleman went 15-15, Kayla Hanson went 16-16, Danielle Chapin went 17-18, Hailey Harbitz went 14-14 and Allison Wolle went 12-12.
Other highlights for the Lady Saints against Fairmont include Mickelson getting 32 digs, along with Kayla Hanson having 36 digs and Danielle Chapin had 26 digs.
