Members of the BCA and Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force were called to a crime scene on Monday in Truman after a deceased female was found in a basement of a Truman business.
While the investigation is still ongoing the Minnesota River Valley Task Force released the following press release which includes the name of the victim.
On 08/19/18 the Truman Police Department and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased female in the basement of a business in the City of Truman. First responders suspected the death to be drug related so they contacted the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force and the BCA for assistance.
Mariah Lynn Miller, 24, was found deceased in the business which was also the residence of the business owner. Miller was brought to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The incident remains under investigation and further details are not available at this time.
According to authorities the death is considered "Suspicious."
