Gary Sturm received 97.58% to remain as mayor of St. James. Paul Harris (99.35%), Kathleen Hanson (99.07%) and Joshua Hasemen (99.81%) were elected as Council Member at Large, Council Member for Ward 1, and Council Member for Ward 2, respectively.
Michael Tonsager received 36.19% of the votes in the School Board Member election. Bill Miller (County Commissioner District 2), Jared Bergeman (County Sheriff), Stephen Lindee (County Attorney), Rich Enger (Soil and Water Supervisor District 2) all ran unopposed in their elections.
Bob Rinne received 60.16% of the vote to beat out Scott Sanders for the County Commissioner District 4 spot.
Karla Doll received 66.88% of the vote in the County Recorder election.
Bob Gunther received 61.26% of the votes in the State Representative, District 23A election, while Jeremy Munson defeated Jim Grabowska in the State Representative, District 23B.
At the state level, Amy Klobuchar received 53.89% of the vote in the U.S. Senator election. Karin Housley received 48.64% of the vote in the U.S. Senator Special Election. Jim Hagedorn received 50.17% of the vote in the U.S. Representative District 1 election.
Phillip Buhler received 57.80% of the votes in the Butterfield election for mayor. Jim Warwick won a seat on the Butterfield Council. Les Schlomann and Maria Teresa Hernandez each received 92 votes for the second spot. Write-ins received 51.61% of votes in the School Board Member election, while Anders Pierson received 48.39%.
