On March 12, St. James held a candidate forum for the ward two city council opening, which will be voted on during a special election April 7. Tracy Hurley was the moderator, and candidates Brad Cowell, Don Halverson, Jerome Thompson, Glenn Trickel and Clint Firstbrook III were each given the opportunity to make an opening statement, two minutes to answer each question during the forum, and had a minute to give a closing statement before the forum ended.
