Three students from St. James all scored well in recent junior high speech meets. The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Meet was held February 24th where Caitlyn Smith placed 3rd for Great Speeches, James Hamm 6th for Humorous Speeches, and Elijah Stoesz 1st for Informative Speeches.
The Adrian Junior High Tournament took place on March 1, 2011 (Terrible weather/road conditions coming home that night) where Caitlyn Smith received 2nd place for Great Speeches and Elijah Stoesz received 1st place for Informative Speeches.
“There were 160 entires (at Adrian),” said Kim Friesen. “These novices are really doing a great job for our team.”
