The former School District #840 Administrative Building is in the process of being moved to a Kansas Lake campground. “We have to move the building in two sections because of its length,” said Gary Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt Movers on Thursday, November 18, 2010. “We couldn’t make turns with it otherwise.”
Goldschmidt says  the move most likely will take place on Monday, November 22nd. “The ground is still pretty soft,” Goldschmidt said.
The district building was purchased by Curt Sands and will be moved to a Kansas Lake campground, according to Sand’s brother, who was present as the buidling was being jacked up by the construction crew.
