Railroad Days 2009 is now one for the history books and what a week it was! RR Days President, Jim Neid, reported the event a “great success.” “We had perfect weather as compared to the downpours of rain last year,” said Neid.
“With over 100 entries the Gandy Dancer Parade as always was the big event.” Hundreds lined the streets hours in advance to watch the entries show their stuff.
Another first this year was the Classic Pro Wrestling. “We sold all but one ring-side seat,” Neid reported. “It will definitely be back next year.”
The Brat-Pack played to a full house on Saturday Night. “Next year our plans are to have a big Friday Night event,” said Neid.
Thanks goes to all the committee members who worked hard and served faithfully to make Railroad Days an event to be remembered:
    •President-Jim Neid
    • Vice President-Heidi Spitzner
    •Treasurer-Brenda Beltz
•Directors: Eugene Hildebrandt and Klarice Rinne
    •Rail Run-Pete Eggen
    •Parade Chairman-Stan Luther
•Committee Members- Dwight Burman, Kevin Spitzner, Chuck Strenge, Jody Schwanke, Katlyn Ranniger, Amanda Ranniger and Matt Rinne
    •Button Chairman-Philip Berreau
