She graduated from Hanska High School in 1958. On Jan. 1, 1961, she married John Aden, Jr. at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska. She worked at Woolworths from 1958-1961, Aden Bakery in St. James, and as a bookkeeper at JC Penneys for 17 years, until they closed. They were members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she served as a youth counselor, altar guild and ladies aid. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years, enjoyed their card club, along with reading and crafts. After John retired, they enjoyed taking many bus trips to Branson, Mo. and other areas. She and John also did woodworking together as he would do the cutting and she would do the painting.
She is survived by her brother, Wallace Nundahl of Mounds View; sister-in-law, Wyona "Sis" Yackel of St. James; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, in 2013; daughter, Nancy Jean; her parents; and brother, Ronald.
