Julie (Forseth) Barrows died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, Dec. 27 in Fort Meyers, Fla. at the age of 57.
Julie (Forseth) Barrows died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, Dec. 27 in Fort Meyers, Fla. at the age of 57. A gathering for the Celebration of Life for Julie is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the LaSalle Community Center (310 1st St. LaSalle, MN 56056). Funeral services at LaSalle Church followed by a burial service at Kansas Lake Cemetery will be held this spring. The date is TBD.
Julie was born on Jan. 14, 1959 in St. James to Reynold and Delores Forseth. After graduating from St. James High School, Julie attended Rochester Vo-Tech and worked as a dental assistant for 30+ years. She married Charley on Aug. 31, 2012 and enjoyed the last four years spending winters in Fort Meyers, Fla. and her summers in Ham Lake. Julie loved to dance and have a fun time wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Julie is survived by her husband, Charley Barrows; daughters, Casey Johnson and Randi (Jeff) Buzzelli; grandchildren, Tossy, Joel, Maria, Madison and Makenna; her mother, Delores Forseth; her sisters, Pat (Gary) Schmiesing, Kathy (Steve) Reinsvold and Colleen (Terry Johnson) Forseth; and her nephews and nieces. Julie is preceded in death by her daughter, Dana; her father, Reynold Forseth; nephews, Eric Reinsvold and Paul Fisher.
