He served on the East Sveadahl Church Council and LaSalle Shipping Assoc. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, riding snowmobile, and league bowling with friends. Clarence competed in area antique tractor pulls. He loved to spend time visiting with family and friends to include in-laws and all 43 nieces and nephews and their families. They all meant a lot to him. After they retired, he and Jeannette enjoyed vacations together.
