Amanda Persinger, 22, of St. James died on Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester as a result of an automobile accident on Saturday, July 10, 2010.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in St. James with Reverend Judy Stillwell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home and will continue for one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
Amanda Sue Persinger was born on November 18, 1987 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. She enjoyed spending time with her two children, family and friends. She also enjoyed her cell phone, cruising with friends, singing karaoke at her mom’s, doodling with her hair and shopping. She was a stay at home mom and had recently gotten married on June 8, 2010 to Jesus Perez. She will always be in our hearts and deeply missed.
Survivors include her children, Marissa and Mason; parents, Tammy Hall and Karen Lunz of Trimont, MN; brothers, Steve (Brittany) Persinger of St. James, MN and Cody Persinger of Denison, IA, sisters, Ashley Persinger of St. James, MN, Amber Gleason of St. James, MN, Miranda Gleason and Kaitlyn Gleason of Trimont, MN; two nieces and one nephew; husband, Jesus Perez of St. James, MN; grandparents, James and Patricia Holehouse of Wisconsin and Clark Lunz of St. James, MN; boyfriend, Travis Robb of St. James, MN; and aunts, uncles and lots of cousins.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Mark Persinger; grandparents, James T. Hall and LaVonne Lunz; and uncle, Jeff Lunz.
