Joshua Adams, 24, of St. James died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in rural Martin County as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in St. James with Reverend Dwight Hendricks officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Odin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James and will continue for one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
Joshua Robert Adams was born on July 9, 1986 in St. James, Minnesota. He attended school in St. James, Butterfield and Mt. Lake. He graduated from ALC Windom/ Mt. Lake in 2004.
Josh enjoyed wrestling, band, football through the early years of school. He also enjoyed fishing and playing video games. He especially liked hanging out with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Julio and Julie Rodriguez of St. James, MN; brothers, Travis Lunz of St. James, MN, Shawn Lunz of St. James, Jerry Rodriguez of Laredo, TX, Julio Rodriguez Jr, of Laredo, TX and Phillip Rodriguez of Austin, TX; sisters Jamie Lunz of St. James, MN, Maria Rodriguez of Loredo, TX and Sandra Rodriguez of Loredo, TX; grandparents, Robert (Renee) Adams of Marshall, WI, Ronny Olson of Butterfield, MN and Dora Martinez Blas of St. James, MN; many aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
