Dennis Gohr, 61, formerly of Butterfield, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Wissota Health and Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin where he had been a resident for the past nine years.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mae Rowan Ecumenical Center at Wissota Health. Interment was in Kimball Lutheran Church Cemetery, near Butterfield.
Dennis E. Gohr was born on June 14, 1949 to Mamie (Boultinghouse) and Arthur Gohr in Butterfield, Minnesota. He grew up in Butterfield and graduated from Butterfield High School. He greatly missed his days of farming.
Dennis was loved by his family so much, he will be dearly missed. The way he lived his life taught his children to be strong, to never give up and to love as much as possible. His life touched so many others. His family will miss their time with him. He brought smiles to faces each day.
Survivors include his daughters, Alissa Westmoreland of Superior, WI and Wendy Gohr of St. Paul, MN; son, Arthur J. “A.J.” Gohr of Plymouth, MN; his wife, Cheryl Gohr of St. Paul, MN; and three grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Westmoreland and Christopher Gohr.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
