    Arlyne Steuck, 84, of Brookings, South Dakota died on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Brookview Manor.
    Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Elkton.
    Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Rude’s Funeral Home, Brookings.
    Arlyne F. Boll was born on April 18, 1925 to Ernest and Caroline (Kahl) Boll in Brookings County South Dakota. She received her education in Verdi, Minnesota and was a graduate of the Verdi High School in 1943. After receiving her education she was employed as a housekeeper for various families near Verdi for several years. She then moved to St. James where she was employed at Tony Downs Corp. She later moved to Cokato where she worked in a cabinet factory.
    On December 8, 1979 she was united in marriage to Irvin Steuck in Howard Lake, Minnesota. In 1990 she retired and moved to Brookings. While living there, she worked at Mac’s Diner in the bakery department until 2000.
    Arlyne was a member of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed embroidery, fishing, traveling and especially spending time with family and friends.
    Survivors include daughters, Delores (Dawes) Beynon of Brookings, SD and Donna (Duane) Rankin of St. James, MN; sons, Daniel (LeAnne) Andersen of South Sioux City, NE and Kenneth (Kathy) Andersen of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law, Suzette (Bob) Becker of Lewisville, MN; step-son, Gary Steuck of Gryla, MN; step-daughters, Linda (Virgil) Mahlstedt of Hastings, MN, Anita (Dennis) Johnson of Tyler, MN, Kathy (Dennis) Brockberg of Marshall, MN and Patricia Nesvold of St. Charles, MO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
    Arlyne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irvin on September 26, 2001; one son; one great-grandson; six brothers; two sisters and an infant sister.
