    Santos Garcia, 73, of St. James, died on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Madelia Community Hospital in Madelia.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James with Father Luis Vargas officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in St. James.
    Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 for one hour prior to the services.
    Santos Garcia was born on March 25, 1937 to Romulo Garcia and Fidela Olivas in Ojinaga Chih, Mexico. He grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States in the early 1980’s. He lived and worked in Texas for several years before moving to St. James. He worked at Butterfield Foods for several years before his retirement.
    Santos enjoyed playing Conquian, Monopoly and doing puzzles.
    Survivors include many friends including, Rene Rodriguez, Michelle Fuentes, Kayla Leann Rodriguez and many distant relatives in Mexico.
